OK. I've been delinquent in blogging for some time now, due to some life challenges with one of my kids. I've been missing the connection with my blogworld friends, and one of the things I've recognized I need to reach out for again is that connection. In that line, I'm going to try the "Ten on Tuesday" thing as an inspiration. If it doesn't work, I can always switch gears, right?
Ten Things I Want to do in 2009
1. Finish my UFOs or frog them (I need the needles back in play)
2. Make socks for all my kids this year.
3. Make new caps & mittens for the kids this year.
4. Spin.
5. Work on my spirituality.
6. Build a chimney for my oil burner so it doesn't go out all winter due to ground level exhaust backdrafting.
7. Add a generator to the house so we don't have to evacuate with power outages.
8. Lose weight.
9. Get more active
10. Relax.
And so I begin....
(hmmmm....you think I'd have this commenting thing sorted by now! If this is a duplicate feel free to delete it!)
Good luck with the goals for 2009!
I haven't sorted out my goals for the year yet -- just the overriding pricinple to 'look after me!'

Good luck with the goals!!
I've been contemplating my goals for 2009 and haven't committed toany specific ones yet -- just the general 'take better care of me!'.

We're still here, no worries, and are sure glad you've missed us as we did you! ;-)
It's quite a list you've got there, impressive, and very wisely chosen!
11. Have fun!

Happy New Year to you too! Resolutions seem so big & monumental. A simple list of things I want to do is much more manageable. Good luck with your list.

And, those would all be good things. I think a few of us are working on that exercise thing...
