Have a great time!!! Where will the doggies go? Hero sounds like he's still doing really well, and so glad you found a vet closer to you. I know just about nada about Eire... so take loads of pics, eh?

if you don't bring back every biscuit, cadbury's chocolate and prawn cocktail crisps you can lay your hands on i'll have to beat you!!!
:) hope you enjoy the home land.

Enjoy your trip!! Sadly, I think you will not find many yarn shops that carry much through most of the Ireland. Or at least that was my experience a couple of summers ago. Will you be mostly around Dublin and in Southern Ireland? I have some good eating spots to suggest if you are going to Belfast.

You're going to have a fabulous time! I wish I had some food advice...I'll enjoy Ireland through you! ;-)

so.jealous. I was there 8 years ago and loved it- but did not find a yarn shop! You'll need Barry's Tea and Cadbury's biscuts
porrige daily and eat tons of salmon (so good!)

I'll keep the doggies if you want to dropthem off on the way!

Barns

  • East Holden, Maine barn studio
A series of barn photos I've taken or been sent. Barns are magical to me - they have so much character, and provide so much for the animals and farmers.

These are photos of finished objects, knit pre-blog. Some of these date back to the early 1980's, not having knit since my mother taught me to knit a scarf at the age of six.
