These are beautiful. I love the one in the center with the wreath. I dream of living in a spot like that, but then again....

Lovely all, but my favorite is the one on the top right with the arched window and the funny green shutters. What a great home it would make. I found a barn to photograph less than 2 miles from my house! I drive by it all the time. Why did I never notice it?

lovely barns:)

Your barns are beautiful Dianna. Even though I live in the country I don't think you really ever get tired of seeing them....it feels as though each one has its story.

Pretty funny... and here I'd been thinking that all your barn pics were in large part for the B posts! (I just saw Water St Yarns in Hallowell on your sidebar. She closed up shop in October, did you know?)

Barns

  • East Holden, Maine barn studio
A series of barn photos I've taken or been sent. Barns are magical to me - they have so much character, and provide so much for the animals and farmers.

These are photos of finished objects, knit pre-blog. Some of these date back to the early 1980's, not having knit since my mother taught me to knit a scarf at the age of six.
