Oh, I'm so sorry. I had to have my 16 year old Sheltie put to sleep on the 27th. It's so hard, but they trust us to have the gumption to do it when it's the right time! Someone told me this on Monday:

Little furballs leave big empty spaces in the house and our hearts.

Ne'er a truer word be spoken!

Two weeks ago tonight we had to put down my "dog of a lifetime" after a short, unexpected crisis. It's been the hardest thing I've ever experienced; I still dissolve in a puddle if I let my mind drift that way. How completely they steal our hearts....

Hugs. I'm so sorry.

Dianna, I'm so sorry about Dadiva! The loss of a treasured family member is so very difficult. Hugs to you!

I'm so sorry for your loss, Dianna! They just go too soon. Peace to you.

A series of barn photos I've taken or been sent. Barns are magical to me - they have so much character, and provide so much for the animals and farmers.

These are photos of finished objects, knit pre-blog. Some of these date back to the early 1980's, not having knit since my mother taught me to knit a scarf at the age of six.
