We are a bit distracted from fibery pursuits here. Sheep, alpaca and other fiber producing critters have been pushed aside by another creature in our household. This one
stands 14h 3, is 17 years old and is a registered Arabian mare. Her registered name is Golden Majesty, but I believe DD is leaning towards calling her Louize, with a show name of "Geez Louize". She has a yearling, which the previous owners kept. She is very quick to learn, forward moving, and is sensitive to handle. She wears either a full cheek snaffle bit or can use a hackamore. She hasn't been ridden since she foaled last year, so DD will be working her out a bit each day to help her build her muscle mass back up. She is already not happy about her two week quarantine at the barn, but she'll get over it. She caught the eye of all the geldings immediately after she got off the trailer! She favors carrots, and has already taught us her way of asking for more!
I AM doing some knitting - photos soon. I know I keep saying that, but I do really really really mean it!
Love the horse!
For some reason the RSS reader is reloading ALL your blog each time you post. You might want to check.....I am not sure what you would check!
