I was just about to ask, why there's always a penny with spun yarn, when I read on and you explained it. I'm going to start spinning as well. Waiting for Amy to send me a starter kit. I ordered back issues of Spin-off and subcript to it too. Now I need to find a CD, where somebody can show me, what I'm going to do. Can't wait!!!
Lace weight, eh? How wonderful!

Ooo, pretty! Amy is a good pusher.

Hooray for thin yarn
Spinning shouldn't be a struggle. If toys make it easier then it's toys we must have :)

Barns

  • East Holden, Maine barn studio
A series of barn photos I've taken or been sent. Barns are magical to me - they have so much character, and provide so much for the animals and farmers.

Pre-blog FOs

  • Caleb's Icelandic
These are photos of finished objects, knit pre-blog. Some of these date back to the early 1980's, not having knit since my mother taught me to knit a scarf at the age of six.
