One of the many advantages of living in a rural area is seeing things like these five turkeys crossing the road
on one's way home. This flock of turkeys crossed our road just in front of us. There were a total of 14 of these birds on one side of the road, and 8 or so on the other who crossed in front of us. The larger group that had already crossed did not show in the photos for all the brush. The last pair got smart and flew over the snowplow hills, but it was funny to watch them slide down the hill on the right then run across the road..... We never saw things like this when we lived in the city!
