My blog is: onaridge.blogspot.com

not with the typepad in front if it and for some reason it's being added in the link for my url. Please come visit!

Your fibery stuff is lovely!

Corriedale and Corrie Romney crosses don't felt as a finished yarn either. I tried like hell to get my baskets to felt and they wouldn't...even with scrubbing and major agitation. Consequently I throw my knit socks in the wash too. The stuff will felt in the roving form ..just not as a 2 ply yarn in my experience. Same for my Clun Forest and CF crosses. I even stuck a pair in the dryer as they were a little too big and they didn't shrink much.

At least you took care of yourself for Christmas! May it be Merry and bright. It's been a wonderful year here in Blogland and I'm so happy to have met you here.

  • East Holden, Maine barn studio
A series of barn photos I've taken or been sent. Barns are magical to me - they have so much character, and provide so much for the animals and farmers.

These are photos of finished objects, knit pre-blog. Some of these date back to the early 1980's, not having knit since my mother taught me to knit a scarf at the age of six.
