I have a very tiny family. My dad was an only child and my mom has one sister. Here sister only had two children. Of my three brothers, two died young. My dad, my brother (who has one child) and I all live in BC. My mom lives in Alberta. That's it. I envy people who have large extended families with lots of cousins, nieces and nephews.

I have sisters in 6 different states (Maine, Vermont, New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio and Connecticut), and in laws in Arkansas. My mom and a whole buncha cousins and some aunts n uncles are clustered in Maine.

  • East Holden, Maine barn studio
A series of barn photos I've taken or been sent. Barns are magical to me - they have so much character, and provide so much for the animals and farmers.

Pre-blog FOs

These are photos of finished objects, knit pre-blog. Some of these date back to the early 1980's, not having knit since my mother taught me to knit a scarf at the age of six.
