Oh that is gorgeous!! I love wooden things. I can't wait to see if you get yours. :)

I love antique darning eggs, myself. They might not be the most convenient ever things to use, but there's something so both dated and eternal about them. Love it.

A niddy-noddy? Hmmm....must be spinning talk! It is lovely whatever it is :-)

Oh yes...I love the wood of spindles, nostepindes, and niddy noddies! What a treasure the antique reproduction is. Hope you can find someone to make it.

What a cool idea! I do love a good wood tool. When I brought Alden Amos to the east coast for my spinning guild, he gave me an amazing present: the world's biggest handcrafted by him wood niddy noddy. It is gorgeous! Hope you get your adjustable NN soon.

A series of barn photos I've taken or been sent. Barns are magical to me - they have so much character, and provide so much for the animals and farmers.

These are photos of finished objects, knit pre-blog. Some of these date back to the early 1980's, not having knit since my mother taught me to knit a scarf at the age of six.
