That thought about pace of projects and actual time to do them? Yeah. Big time. Or, little time, as the case seems to be.

haha, i know just what you mean about the knitting list ;-)

The only thing I've seen from XRX of any interest for years is a new Victorian Shawl book coming out this fall. That just might be worth buying.

That "things to make" wish list is such a fickle thing. Thankfully mine remains a wish list and I don't buy yarn in advance for it!! Occasionally I finish something and get the list back out just to find that something I thought I wanted to make before isn't so interesting to me any more. :)

I have to agree with you on the XRX thing..what is going on in the design department lately?!

I've had the same misfortune with bathmats. What a great idea to make your own!

I'm adding things to make to my list much faster than I can knit them, too! And I stopped subscribing to Knitter's a while ago because it just didn't speak to me (though I am eagerly looking forward to the new Victorian Lace Today book from XRX). I refuse to look at my old magazines until I finish at least a few WIPs and soon-to-be WIPs (meaning the yarn is on its way).

A series of barn photos I've taken or been sent. Barns are magical to me - they have so much character, and provide so much for the animals and farmers.

These are photos of finished objects, knit pre-blog. Some of these date back to the early 1980's, not having knit since my mother taught me to knit a scarf at the age of six.
