It's beautiful. She'll be so lucky to have it to wear on her wedding. I'm getting the itch to start knitting lace as well...must be the warmer weather.

Quite the ambitious project! It is beautiful. What a delight it will be to open. I can just see her, lifting it from the box, gathering it up, and holding it close to her face. You must, absolutely must, get a picture of the scene when she gets it!


Oh, this is stunning. It must be time for lace now that spring is almost here. I'm casting on for a shawl myself for my travels. I'll look forward to seeing this develop.


What a wonderful wedding gift. I wish I were a knitter back when I married, it would have been so nice to have something like that!
