The pattern stitch is lovely. Very pretty.

I'll bet this is going to be stunning!

It's beautiful. She'll be so lucky to have it to wear on her wedding. I'm getting the itch to start knitting lace as well...must be the warmer weather.

kimberly

That is going to be gorgeous!!

Quite the ambitious project! It is beautiful. What a delight it will be to open. I can just see her, lifting it from the box, gathering it up, and holding it close to her face. You must, absolutely must, get a picture of the scene when she gets it!

Oh, this is stunning. It must be time for lace now that spring is almost here. I'm casting on for a shawl myself for my travels. I'll look forward to seeing this develop.

What a wonderful wedding gift. I wish I were a knitter back when I married, it would have been so nice to have something like that!

Barns

  • East Holden, Maine barn studio
A series of barn photos I've taken or been sent. Barns are magical to me - they have so much character, and provide so much for the animals and farmers.

Pre-blog FOs

These are photos of finished objects, knit pre-blog. Some of these date back to the early 1980's, not having knit since my mother taught me to knit a scarf at the age of six.
