Hi! I took a Sock class using the Queen Kahuna 'method' (from Priscilla Gibson) but I forget how to do the part for the Cast-On! It's been awhile since doing it. We made a miniature sock...20 sts total...10 on each circular needle. I know I cast on the 10 but then, when I cast on the other 10 sts, they don't face each other, they are staggered. I just can't remember how to get them facing each other! I hope you can help me with this. I really want to practice & learn this & make these amazing socks. Thankyou so much, Joy

Theresa

There's nothing like good fibery company!

It sounds like you had a wonderful afternoon! I don't know which I was drooling over more... the delicious food or all the fantastic fiber! ;-) That mint and cream colored yarn is so pretty. Glad to hear that things are going well with the spinning- looking forward to seeing everything. Take care, Dianna! :-)

Barns

A series of barn photos I've taken or been sent. Barns are magical to me - they have so much character, and provide so much for the animals and farmers.

These are photos of finished objects, knit pre-blog. Some of these date back to the early 1980's, not having knit since my mother taught me to knit a scarf at the age of six.
