Mary in Maine

cool sox!
my dog, Jennie, knows how to pluck blueberries with her teeth. it's really cute to see her do that, then I realize...hey! my blueberries...leave me some! :)

Siri

Kuplink, kuplank, kuplunk. I can just about hear those berries dropping into your little pail! I've always been fascinated by Maine. Even when asked when I was a little girl where I'd like to travel to I'd frequently answer, "Maine." Maybe because it was the farthest away from Seattle I could get still within the United States?
What I would give to pick blueberries one day in those beautiful barrens! What a fabulous picture!

Kat

Mmmmm, fresh Maine berries added to pancake batter. Brings back memories of summers on the Allagash and St. John.

Barns

  • East Holden, Maine barn studio
A series of barn photos I've taken or been sent. Barns are magical to me - they have so much character, and provide so much for the animals and farmers.

Pre-blog FOs

  • Caleb's Icelandic
These are photos of finished objects, knit pre-blog. Some of these date back to the early 1980's, not having knit since my mother taught me to knit a scarf at the age of six.
