This barn was cool from the back side. It has nicely weathered cedar shakes, and interesting windows. It dwarfs the owners house, and has a little addition building there at the back corner, Gambrel style roof, picturesque brush in the foreground.

Nice barn. There are a few rambling gambrel roofed barns up in the Adirondack Mtns that I love to look at. Next time I'm up there, I'm goign to stop for a photo shoot.
A series of barn photos I've taken or been sent. Barns are magical to me - they have so much character, and provide so much for the animals and farmers.
These are photos of finished objects, knit pre-blog. Some of these date back to the early 1980's, not having knit since my mother taught me to knit a scarf at the age of six.
