Today was the first day of the annual Maine Fiber Frolic in Windsor, Maine. Part of the Kahuna Girls went with me in 'Arvey, my co-owned 13 year old RV. We rode in fine style, complete with coffee, fruit, cheese and crackers. DD even accompanied us, despite claiming that we "scare" her. She even knit on her koala (Fiber Trends pattern).
Today's installment of the adventure is the Llama Drill Team.
I believe this is an event unique to Fiber Frolic - at least I haven't read or seen pictures of any other group doing it. This year, we saw more stubborness on the part of the participating llamas than I recall on my last trip. The announcer did say that four or so of these llamas had never participated in the drill team before this week. Some were sporting their summer haircuts, and others were not. The
handlers were all ages, sizes and genders. One llama was able to evade his handler on the way to the barn and went for a bit of a frolic himself before being caught by other llama handlers.

Wow! How much fun is that? I had no idea. Looks like you had a great time.
